The project has a dedicated female boxing coach available. Find out about boxing at one of our taster sessions and join a programme of activities at Collyhurst and Moston Boxing Club. If you live a little further away then our coaches are more than happy to introduce you to other gyms and coaches nearer to where you live.

Boxing helps improve your fitness, concentration and discipline all while making new friends and having some fun. Girls and young women can learn self control, self reliance, self discipline, fair play and respect for one another. Boxing is also fun, especially for young people who love to test themselves and enjoy the excitement of physical competition.  Boxing can help aggressive youths channel their energy into constructive activity, and those that are shy can develop self esteem and confidence.
